Key Responsibilities The benefits analyst is responsible for the administration of LSC Communications LLC Health & Welfare and Retirement plans.
Must be able to problem solve and exercise high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks and prioritizing work.
Additionally, must be able to complete all responsibilities timely, accurately and with high quality.
Audit vendor benefit data files/reports, (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly; to/from vendors), to ensure data accuracy and investigation/resolution of discrepancies.
Supports in the identification of trends to escalate and resolve the broader opportunities to avoid the same issue resolution.
Coordinate the response and resolution to the Business Segment's HR questions/issues.
Proactively identify trends and work to resolve or escalate as appropriate.
Serve as primary interface with the HRIS/Payroll departments/related system(s) on file issues/questions, and resolution, relating to benefit deductions, taxes, etc.
Maintain strong working relationship with third party vendors; tracking and coordinating resolution across all vendor issues.
Manage all vendor invoices for accuracy and payment.
Lead the development and of execution business requirements test plans specific to benefits for HRIS/Benefit System(s) changes or conversions.
Serve as subject matter expert and project manager for Annual Enrollment, and other benefit special projects.
Support the updating of plan documents, and the development of communications for HR and participants.
Manage the preparation of data/reports for plan audits, compliance testing, regulatory form submissions and 401k funding.
Coordinate responses to government requests, including court orders, legal requests and Medicare coordination, Child Support, etc.

Document and maintain standard operating procedures for benefit processes.
Evaluate, recommend and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Requirements & Skills Advanced analytical and Microsoft Excel skills BA/BS or equivalent educational background preferred 5
years of Benefits administration experience; including outsourced benefit solutions and all compliance and regulatory aspects of benefit plans.
In-depth understanding of federal, state and local laws governing leave such as ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, 401(k) and FMLA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
