(ERA) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to fill a GIS Analyst position to join our GIS Department at our office in Warrenville, IL.
This position would primarily serve as support for our site development, transportation, structural, environmental, and stormwater projects under the guidance of a senior GIS manager.
The primary role would be to prepare data for use in various projects and help expand ERA's GIS capabilities.
An ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited university and have exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills to help navigate coordination with various departments in addition to other qualifications listed below.

Responsibilities:
Create and manage GIS data for project support Create LiDAR DTM derivatives for use in CAD Collect and help manage data collected from the field survey Create standardized professional exhibits and supplements for reports Help develop new tools to help the company continue to expand its geospatial capabilities
Qualifications:
Degree in Geographic Information Sciences, Geography or another equivalent is preferred 0-3 years of experience is desired, though salary will commensurate with experience Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ArcCatalog Knowledge of ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, and Story Maps is desirable Knowledge of QGIS is desirable, but not necessary Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable, but not necessary Exceptional organizational capabilities and the ability to follow standards in addition to helping to recommend new ones as technology continues to evolve Knowledge of working with LiDAR and Photogrammetry are desirable Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills along with a willingness to ask questions and troubleshoot in a collaborative environment Artistic creativity with map making is strongly desirable Proficiency in technical and business writing Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, and able to multi-task and work effectively as a team player A strong desire to continue to grow and learn Engineering Resource Associates (ERA) offers a professional work environment with competitive benefits and compensation package as well as exceptional learning opportunities.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
