Position Overview:
As a Lead CCTV Installer/Low-Voltage Technician at Platinum CCTV, Inc.
, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier security solutions to our diverse clientele.
You will help develop, grow, and lead a team of technicians, ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems and low-voltage equipment.
Your expertise will drive the flawless execution of projects while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and other low-voltage solutions.
Develop practices and mentor entry-level technicians in the growth of their knowledge, skills, and overall career development.
Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute installations, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
Meet with clients and perform site walk-throughs to ensure client needs are met, while developing a positive relationship.
Provide training to clients on system software usage on PC, MAC, and mobile devices.
Handle the setup, configuration, and integration of surveillance cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions during installation and post-installation phases.
Manage inventory, equipment, and tools necessary for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all job sites.
Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your technical expertise.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience (5 years) in installing and maintaining CCTV systems and low-voltage equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
In-depth knowledge of networking principles and IP configurations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for interactions with team members and clients.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
Commitment to safety protocols and industry standards.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass criminal background check.
