Maintenance Tech
Tribe Staffing, LLCWe are hiring for Maintenance Techs in the Bolingbrook and Saint Charles area.
This position is for 2nd shift and at a food manufacturing company.
These are Direct Hire Placement rate starts from $30-$35 an hour ( salary depends on Experience) and this position requires Maintenance experience in Manufacturing environment.
Must be able to pass background and Drug Test Job DetailsPerforms repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include,but not limited to:
Vertical & Horizontal Form, Fill & Seal Machines, conveyors,metal detectors, X-Ray detectors, checkweighers/scales, labeling systems, bagsealers, ribbon blenders, sifters and pneumatic pressure conveying systems.
RequirementsInstalls or replaces motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts, filters, gears, chains and valvesRebuilds valves, pumps and gearboxes.
Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairsAbility to utilize electrical hand tools and devices to find short circuits and electrical faults.
Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement and breakdowns to mechanical wear.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, drives chains, etc.

Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas and the alignment and leveling equipment.
Acts as a lead by training, mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced and hourly Maintenance employees.
Effectively reads & understands mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Communicates effectively and professionally with superiors, peers and representatives from other departmentsMilitary experience with similar backgroundPlease apply with resume since interview and tour will be requiredRequired
