Promotional Products and Branding Specialist

Job Description Seeking an experienced Promotional Product and Brand Specialist to drive growth for RRD's Promotional Products team, the perfect candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experiencesupporting the promotional products needs of large scale customers and, possess a strong working knowledge of the promotional supplier's and their product offerings.   Required Skills Primary point of contact for customer(s) for promotional products. Comprehensively understand and ensure customer brand, logo and messaging requirements are followed and clearly communicated to the manufacturer. Make suggestions to customers regarding product selection and workflow/process improvements to proposed jobs to maximize the benefits to both the customer and the company. Confer with customers throughout production to keep them informed of the status of jobs, solicit additional information needed for current jobs and coordinate changes to jobs. Work with the customer through the proofing process. Work with customers to facilitate prototypes and development of custom promotional product pieces. Will coordinate the outsourcing development of prototypes. Participate in team projects that support goals and objectives. Work as a team member with other departments to secure customer expectations are met. Facilitate meetings as needed with these departments as part of the sales process. Coordinate the resolution of customer or product issues.  Engage appropriate departments to verify the issue and determine the root case. May make recommendations to management on appropriate response to issues that are in the best interest of the customer and the company.  Communicate with customers regarding the resolution of issues. May provide pre-sales support with customers and discuss the manufacturing capabilities and requirements needed to produce a successful job. Consistently develop comprehensive competitor knowledge. Support all Product Safety & Material Compliance requirements of the Sourcing process, including completion of any required approvals and metrics. Required Experience Bachelors degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-6 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience. Must have experience in the promotional products industry, specifically, must possess knowledge of products, associated supply base and development of customer offerings. Ability to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing problems.  Must be able identify critical elements, variables and develop solutions. Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions. Communicate clearly with those who need to know of decisions/actions/problems.  Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems. Apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows programs, Google Documents, Salesforce.com and other technical tools in completing assignments. Mentor junior level team members in with industry knowledge as well as tools and systems. Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand. Able to explain programs, policies and procedures in language that is understood by others at varying levels. Construct and deliver onsite presentation to customers and sales. Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.  Must have strong and demonstrated customer relationship skills. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
