Associate Business Manager II

Job Summary AECOM is seeking an Associate Business Manager II to join our global facilities management business. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm; hours may vary based on business demand.  May require up to 10% travel to our locations nationwide Primary Responsibilities: Support full lifecycle of project finance processes and ensure timely and accurate communication with the client and vendors. Participate at a hands-on level in month-end and year-end accounting close process, ensuring integrity and accuracy of reported financial results. Document processes and internal controls and identify opportunities to implement process improvement ideas. Assist in reconciling accounts as needed. Provide testing support for accounting system implementations. Maintain files for accounting materials and support documentation Support the annual budget process for the assigned project portfolio, contribute to the accuracy of the monthly forecast, and reconcile differences throughout the year. Serve as resource to the site operations team and support compliance with the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and any related site level agreements. Provide support for various work groups and business units within a high matrix organization to achieve end results within established timetables and deadlines. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related program. Five years of professional accounting and financeexperience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Additional Information: Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position may require a valid Driver's License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. Physical Requirements: Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday. Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. Requires ability to attend meetings and potentially travel to other AECOM, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner Special Requirements: Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of accounting concepts Proficiency in Excel with if/then statements, vlookups and pivot tables. Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to multitask competing priorities Familiarity with data warehouse structures and the development of reports using data intelligence software Experience supporting a client account and working in client facing role as part of a project team Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, or a similar ERP system MBA, CPA and/or CMA. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
